Obituary of Harriet Barlow D'Alonzo

Harriet Ann Elise Barlow D'Alonzo, age 90, a resident of Normandy Farms Estates in Blue Bell, PA for the past 13 years died on March 19, 2024. She previously resided in Elkins, Park, PA. Born in Philadelphia on June 16, 1933, Harriet was the daughter of the late Arthur Knight Barlow and Beatrice Townsend Barlow. She studied Education at Pennsylvania State University from where she her Bachelor's degree in 1955. She married Dr. Albert Floyd D'Alonzo on June 21, 1958. They were married for 45 years until Albert's death in 2003. She was a member of Manufacturer's Golf and Country Club and Springhouse Questers. Harriet was a long time member of Epiphany of Our Lord R.C. Church, where she served as Eucharistic Minister, Choir Member and Archivist. She is survived by her loving children and their spouses: Albert "Bret" Barlow & Eileen D'Alonzo, Sallie Sherrod D'Alonzo & Philippe Chin and Henry Christopher Townsend D'Alonzo & Gina Libby; grandchildren: Isabella Scheid, Christopher Jake, Jack Albert, Sophia Quinn and Reece Townsend. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Arthur T. Barlow, William L. Barlow, Donald E. Barlow and Brinkley H. Barlow. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 3050 Walton Road, Plymouth Meeting, PA, where relatives and friends will be received from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
