Obituary of Sara Felton Butterworth

SALLY FELTON BUTTERWORTH, age 82, of Normandy Farms Estates and formerly of Elkins Park, PA died on January 21, 2015. Born in Point Township, PA, Sally was the daughter of the late G. Clifford Felton and the late Sara R. Felton. She graduated from Lyons Township High School in La Grange, IL and later studied at Beaver College, now Arcadia University. She retired as Office Manager from Abington Presbyterian Church and prior to that was an Executive Secretary for Strawbridge & Clothier for 14 years. Sally was a member and former Regent of the William Penn Chapter, DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution). She was a former member of Manufacturer's Golf and Country Club and was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Jenkintown, PA. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; Susan B. and Theodore F. Decker, three grandchildren and a brother. She was preceded in death by her son and a sister. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 31, 2015, Helweg & Rowland Funeral Home, 1059 Old York Road, Abington, where friends will be received from 12:30 until the time of the service.
