Andrew John Schast, age 73, of Rydal Park died on November 7, 2014. He is survived by his loving sons and their spouses: Andrew J. Schast and Candace Bawcombe-Schast and David J. and Aileen Schast; by his dear grandchildren: Julia Schast, Cateline Bawcombe-Schast and William Bawcombe-Schast; by his former wife, Josephine Schast; by his sister, Eileen Chepy and by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends will be received on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM, Helweg & Rowland Funeral Home, 1059 Old York Road, Abington, where remembrances by the family will begin at 8:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, Christ The King Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1629 W. Cayuga St., Phila., PA 19140. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Philadelphia Youth Orchestra, P.O. Box 41810, Phila., PA 19101- ( pyos.org/support/make-a-gift/).
